Early Life
Moses Usor was born on February 5, 2002, in Nigeria. Some football databases identify Lagos as his birthplace, while his official LASK profile simply lists Nigeria. Because the club’s official profile does not give a specific city, it is safer to describe his birthplace as Nigeria rather than state a city as an established fact.
Details about Usor’s childhood are relatively limited because he has kept much of his private life away from the public spotlight. His development as a footballer, however, began at 36 Lion FC, a Lagos-based football academy known for developing young Nigerian players.
Usor has credited 36 Lion with playing a major role in his development. After scoring his first goal for Nigeria in September 2026, he specifically praised the academy for believing in him when he was still a young player with a dream.
His early years at the academy laid the foundation for an international career that would eventually take him from Nigeria to the Czech Republic and Austria.
Education
There is currently no reliable, detailed public record of Moses Usor’s formal school education.
Unlike some Nigerian footballers whose biographies include information about secondary schools, universities or other educational institutions, Usor’s publicly documented career has focused primarily on his football development.
His known football education came through 36 Lion FC, where he spent his youth years before moving into European professional football. Available player records indicate that he developed at the academy from approximately 2008 until 2022.
Therefore, claims about a particular secondary school, university or academic qualification should not be presented as confirmed unless Usor or a reliable source publicly verifies them.
Career / Professional Journey
36 Lion FC
Moses Usor’s professional football story began with 36 Lion FC.
The academy provided him with the environment to develop his technical ability and prepare for professional football. His performances eventually attracted attention from clubs outside Nigeria.
Usor’s progression from Nigerian academy football to Europe became one of the defining stages of his career. In a 2026 interview following his Super Eagles debut, he described 36 Lion as the place that “made” him and thanked the academy for believing in him.
Slavia Prague
In 2022, Usor moved to the Czech Republic to join Slavia Prague.
He initially played for Slavia Prague B, where he made an immediate impression by scoring six goals in nine appearances. His performances helped him move closer to the senior team.
He subsequently made his Slavia Prague first-team debut against Sparta Prague in May 2022.
That transition was important because it represented Usor’s first significant step into European professional football.
Move to LASK
In January 2023, Usor joined Austrian club LASK on loan from Slavia Prague.
His performances in Austria eventually convinced LASK to make the move permanent. In November 2023, the Austrian club announced that Usor had signed a long-term contract running until June 2028. LASK’s official profile lists him as a Nigerian attacker wearing the number 8 shirt.
At LASK, Usor continued developing as a versatile attacker. Although primarily associated with the wing, he has also been used as a forward.
His left foot is one of his notable technical characteristics. He can operate from the right side and cut inside onto his stronger foot, giving him opportunities to shoot or create chances.
2025/26 Breakthrough
The 2025/26 season was particularly important in Usor’s development.
Available statistics show that he scored 12 Austrian Bundesliga goals during the 2025/26 league season, while also contributing in cup competitions. LASK won the Austrian Cup during the campaign.
That form helped increase his profile and contributed to his emergence as a player capable of competing at a higher level.
LASK also secured the Austrian Cup in 2026, giving Usor a major club honour relatively early in his European career.
Champions League and European Football
Usor’s rise continued into the 2026/27 season.
He was involved in LASK’s UEFA Champions League qualifying campaign, including the club’s dramatic play-off victory over Celtic in August 2026. His performances during this period helped bring him further into the attention of Nigerian football observers.
His European experience has therefore progressed from Czech football to Austrian domestic competition and continental football.
Moses Usor and the Super Eagles
One of the biggest developments in Moses Usor’s biography came in September 2026 when he received his first senior Nigeria call-up.
He made his Super Eagles debut against Madagascar on September 25, 2026, in Nigeria’s opening 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.
Nigeria entered the final stages of the game level at 1–1. Usor came off the bench and produced a decisive individual run before scoring the winning goal.
The goal gave Nigeria a 2–1 victory and immediately made his international debut memorable.
After the match, Usor said he was not nervous when he entered the game. Instead, he described himself as motivated by the opportunity and credited 36 Lion for helping him reach the moment.
His debut was particularly significant because he scored with his first senior international appearance, giving him a memorable beginning to his Super Eagles career.
Playing Style
Moses Usor is a left-footed attacking player who can operate in several offensive positions.
He is commonly described as a winger or forward and can play from the right side before cutting inside onto his stronger left foot. His game is associated with pace, direct attacking movements and technical ability.
At LASK, he has also been deployed more centrally, which gives his coaches flexibility when selecting him for different tactical situations.
His versatility has become an important part of his development because modern attacking players are increasingly expected to operate in multiple positions.
Net Worth and Lifestyle
There is no reliably verified public figure for Moses Usor’s net worth as of 2026.
Some football websites and social-media pages may publish estimated figures, but these numbers are generally not accompanied by audited financial records or official confirmation from Usor, LASK or his representatives.
Consequently, it would be misleading to state a specific amount as his confirmed net worth.
His professional earnings are likely influenced by his LASK contract, football-related bonuses, sponsorship opportunities and other professional income, but the exact figures are private.
Transfer-market websites have placed his estimated market value in the region of €6 million in 2026, but a player’s market value is not the same thing as his personal net worth.
As his career develops and his profile with the Super Eagles grows, his commercial opportunities could also change.
Personal Life
Moses Usor is known to maintain a relatively private personal life.
Information about his parents, siblings and wider family has not been extensively documented by major football sources. Available reports indicate that he has publicly expressed appreciation for his mother, but her name and occupation have not been reliably established in reputable sources.
This limited information means that several family details circulating online should be treated cautiously.
Moses Usor’s Wife and Relationship Status
There is no reliable public evidence that Moses Usor is married as of September 2026.
Similarly, no established sports publication or official club source has publicly confirmed a wife, fiancée or long-term partner.
Because Usor is only 24 and keeps his personal affairs private, his relationship status should not be filled with speculation. For now, his professional football career is much better documented than his romantic life.
Family Background
Usor’s family background remains one of the less documented areas of his biography.
The names of his parents and the number of siblings he has have not been reliably confirmed in authoritative public sources. His public comments about his mother nevertheless suggest that family support has been important during his upbringing.
Rather than relying on unverified social-media claims, it is more accurate to acknowledge that Usor has chosen to keep these details private.
